Work Description :

The main objective of this scheme is to impart training to urban unemployed or underemployed poor for skill upgradation and to enhance their capacities to secure better salaried jobs in the market in the trades they are trained. The applicants shall provide placement linked skill training to the identified beneficiaries.

Pre-Qualification :

The Agency/Organization/Firm must be in existence for a minimum period of three years  as  on  01.04.2012  and  the  overall  training  capacity  should  be  furnished (Furnish the proof in the prescribed Bid Format).The Agency/Organization/Firm should have an average overall annual turnover of Rs. 50.00 lakh per year for the continuous last 3 years (Balance sheet for continuous last 3 years with IT return should be furnished).The Agency/Organization/Firm should have achieved a minimum placement for the trainees, should not be less than 70% during continuous last three years .The Agency/Organization/Firm should have required infrastructure like premises, library, requisite equipment etc. to conduct  training  for each trade.The Agency/Organization/ Firm should have the required number of qualified faculty members on its pay roll.The  Agency/Organization/Firm should  qualify  themselves  by  having  tie  up arrangements  with prominent  call centers/ companies  to opt for training in the trade of BPO call centers (Documentary evidence should be produced).The Agency/Organization/Firm shall provide certificates, ideally be approved by certification authority like National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT),  Indira Gandhi National Open University etc., or reputed Corporate sector to all trainees after successful completion of the training.
